The General Authority of Customs denied on Saturday the talk of a change in customs duties, noting that the information is inaccurate and unfounded.
The agency said in a statement read by "Economy News" that "what some media and social networking sites about the imposition of additional customs duties on some imports, information is inaccurate and nondescript," indicating that "fees are imposed in accordance with the Tariff Law, The 18 January 2016 ".
"There is no new fee," she said, adding that "what was reported about the application of new fees on July 1, is completely incorrect."
The Commission called on all citizens not to pay attention to these tendentious rumors promoted by some to shady public opinion, pointing out that they are keen to implement laws and regulations that would enhance supervision and control, regulate trade exchange and prevent the entry of prohibited and counterfeit goods, National products ".
