    The Iraqi Central Bank sold at a sale auction of foreign currency today, Monday, more than 108 million dollars. 

    The total amount sold amounted to $ 108 million and $ 65 thousand, with the participation of 26 banks, he said in a statement. He pointed out that the total sales for the purpose of strengthening the balances abroad (remittances and credits) amounted to 67 million and 565 thousand dollars, while the total sales cash amounted to 40 million and 500 thousand dollars. 

    He added that the sale of amounts transferred to bank accounts abroad and cash sales were at 1190 dinars per dollar.

    The Central Bank of Iraq (CBE) announced Monday its foreign currency sales fell to $ 68.77 million from $ 74.99 million in Sunday's auction of $ 6.22 million.
     
    The bank said in a press release that "its sales of foreign currency fell to 68.77 million dollars, compared to sales of 74.99 million dollars Sunday auction, 6.22 million dollars," noting that "the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of only 26 banks "He said.
    The statement added that "these sales are the results of the auction tomorrow, Tuesday," explaining that "the total sales for the day amounted to 108.07 million dollars."
     
    He explained that "the volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to 67.57 million dollars, while the total cash sold was estimated at 40.5 million dollars."
     
    He added that "the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price."
