    (Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The Ministerial Economic Affairs Committee discussed the reality of the border ports and means of development.
    "The Ministerial Economic Affairs Committee, headed by Minister of Planning and Trade Salman Jumaili, at its 16th session on Tuesday, hosted Minister of Interior Qassim Al-Araji and a number of senior leaders in the ministry, including the Director General of Traffic and Director of the Ministry of Interior, General of the Police Department, Director General of the Legal Department, Director General of the Administrative Department and Director General of Contracts. 
    He added that "the committee highly valued the efforts and sacrifices of the Ministry of the Interior in the establishment of security and the fight against terrorism. During the meeting, a number of files were discussed on strengthening the ministry's capabilities and security efforts by providing mechanisms and wheels that help the ministry's formations to perform their tasks in the best possible manner."
    On the other hand, according to the statement, "the Committee on Economic Affairs Ministerial discussed the reality of the border ports and ways to develop and work on the implementation of laws and regulations to ensure the protection of the consumer and the local product and support the national economy .. Indicating that the Committee will continue its efforts in this context in coordination with the concerned bodies represented by border crossings and ministries Planning, Trade and Finance, and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce. " 
    The statement pointed out that "the sixteenth session of the Committee on Economic Affairs, which was attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Ali Alalak, and the Chairman of the National Investment Authority Sami Araji and undersecretaries of the ministries of finance, planning and agriculture and economic adviser to the Prime Minister, discussed a number of economic issues related to the economic situation of Iraq and took the necessary decisions and recommendations ".is over

    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Tuesday facilitated the passage of goods in ports and to help traders.
    Abadi said in a press conference attended by the correspondent / Agency / Information / "The Council of Ministers held, its meeting, today, and during the meeting discussed the movement of goods in Iraqi ports."
    He added that "new directives have been issued to facilitate the passage of goods in Iraqi ports and help traders."
    On the other hand, the Prime Minister considered the kidnapping on the Baghdad-Kirkuk road as a "terrorist crime," stressing that "there are those who try to mix the papers on this subject."
