Washington calls on its allies to stop importing oil from Tehran

) - The United States is pushing its allies to halt oil imports from Iran by November, when Washington will impose sanctions on Tehran , a US official said Tuesday .
The official said in an interview with " Reuters ", and I followed Alsumaria News, "Yes, the United States has been pressing its allies to stop the import of Iranian oil."
"We intend to cut funding sources to Iran and seek to highlight the overall nature of Iran's malicious behavior across the region," the official said.
"An American delegation will go to the Middle East to urge oil producers in the Gulf to ensure oil supplies to the global market after Iran is isolated from the oil market in November," the official said.
The United States has announced its withdrawal from the agreement on Iran's nuclear program and the re-imposition of economic sanctions on Tehran starting in November.
