The Islamic World League has denied press reports that the Saudi authorities prevented Syrian citizens from performing Hajj and Umrah rituals.

In a statement issued by its General Secretariat in Mecca, the association described the reports as "misleading allegations", pointing out that the organization as "the umbrella of the Islamic peoples always receives its intention and praises the guests of the Rahman from all countries, including the dear Syrian people, The Kingdom in the service of all the custodians of the two holy mosques and to provide them with full care.
The Association pointed to the "harmony and flow of this support," explaining that the Kingdom "receives this year more than 18 thousand pilgrims of Syrian nationality, which is the most responsive to those allegations."

The Muslim World League praised the efforts exerted by the Saudi government led by His Majesty King Salman bin Abdul Aziz to "serve pilgrims, pilgrims and visitors without any discrimination between them." She praised what she described as " Saudi Arabia'ssuccessful conclusion of arrangements for the reception of 18 Thousand pilgrims from the Syrian nationality, with the provision of all their medical needs through the Office of the affairs of pilgrims in Syria , to perform Hajj this year. "

The Association pointed out that "the Kingdom receives annually millions of pilgrims and pilgrims and visitors from different sects and ethnicities and nationalities of more than 80 nationalities, and has not been distinguished between them in care and attention," and called on "everyone to the importance of cooperation with the competent authorities in the Kingdom through adherence to regulations And the instructions that have been put in place to serve the guests of the Lord and facilitate their affairs and the advancement of their services with vigilance to the purposes of sources of confusion and lies that have not been all ignorant and purposeful to practice the usual loser and open.
