WASHINGTON - US diplomats have been evacuated from China after being attacked by a vocal attack

A US official said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had evacuated eight employees from its consulate in the Chinese city of Guangzhou after being subjected to a sound attack.
Earlier, an American diplomat said he had recently felt "abnormal" hearing, according to the New York Times.
The United States sent doctors to determine the health of its staff there, while the US State Department requested help from the Chinese side, but the authorities said it had found no symptoms of an audio attack on the US diplomat.
Last year, the US State Department announced that more than 20 employees of the US embassy in the Cuban capital Havana had been subjected to a "sound attack" using special equipment. And
On September 29, the ministry published a statement referring to symptoms of "attack," including hearing loss, headaches, weakness and poor sleep, while Havana announced the absence of any evidence of the use of such influence on US diplomats in Cuba.
