TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran has maintained its $ 6 billion share of exports to Iraq in recent years, deputy head of Iran's Trade Development Organization Mohammad Reza Mudoudi said on Friday.
"Our commercial situation with Iraq is acceptable," Farod said. "Iran's trade relations with Iraq during the years have been almost stable. This stability comes in unstable conditions in Iraq."
"The instability in Iraq has reduced the share of Turkish exports to Iraq to a third, but Iran is still maintaining its share of exports to this country," he said.
"The opportunity for exports to Iraq has doubled after the expulsion of the duel and the specter of civil war. Although we have maintained a share of $ 6 billion in exports to the Iraqi market, this country has great opportunities to implement structural and urban projects," he said.
