Iran plans to conclude monetary agreements with Iraq to deal with national currencies
The Central Bank of Iran (CBE) governor and Crown Prince Ali Saif announced on Saturday that the bank will continue to conclude monetary agreements with Iraq, Russia and Azerbaijan to deal with national currencies.
"We have activated the monetary agreement between Iran and Turkey (to deal with the riyal and the pound), and in this context has been opened several LC bank credits, " Seif said in a statement quoted by the agency "Fars"
He pointed out that "the Iranian Central is aware of the possibilities of bilateral and multilateral monetary agreement has been this kind of agreement with several countries."
