A member of the Political Bureau of the movement of Asaib Ahl al-Haq, affiliated with the Popular Brigades Brigades, Laith al-Athari, on Saturday, responded to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi if he was subjected to US pressure to remove the deputy chairman of the popular crowd Abu Engineer.
"The removal of the engineer from his post is a betrayal of the homeland and the blood of the martyrs and can not be tolerated at all," he said, adding that "the popular crowd will have a reaction to the American pressure in the event of Prime Minister Haider Abadi, Or to dissolve the factions of the crowd and for each recent incident. "
He added that "American pressure continues to target the leaders of the popular crowd and their removal, or the solution and structure of the popular crowd," pointing out that "the popular crowd is a source of great concern to Washington and those behind them after the failure of their schemes and victory over gangs,
He said that "the decision to dissolve the crowd is rejected in toto after the House of Representatives voted on its law," explaining that "the government is obliged to respond to US interventions on the internal affairs, which is trying to raise security and political chaos in the country."
A source familiar with the earlier, the disclosure of the meeting of a number of US senators to Prime Minister Haider Abadi in Baghdad, while the US delegation asked Abadi to remove the deputy leader of the popular crowd Abu Mahdi Engineer from office, and if not respond to the demands of the claimant US military aid to Iraq will be suspended.
