The adoption of electronic collection in medical institutions

Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed that the current year will witness the completion of the electronic collection project in the work of health institutions in Baghdad and the provinces in coordination with the World Health Organization, it is clear that it applied the experimental phase of the project within Baghdad Teaching Hospital.
The Director-General of the Department of Planning and Follow-up in the ministry, Dr. Ali Hussein al-Tamimi, told the "morning" that his ministry is holding intensive meetings with the World Health Organization to introduce programs and modern electronic technology to all health centers and hospitals.
He added that these programs will enable the ministry to obtain data and indicators accurately and quickly and periodically so that the decision-makers in the ministry to take appropriate measures to address the obstacles and problems facing the work of the health system in health institutions.
Al-Tamimi said that his ministry has prepared a plan for the current year, including achievement of advanced rates of achievement in the electronic collection project and the development of mechanisms to apply it in health institutions in order to control the electronic management system of the process of collection and payment of the salaries of auditors of health institutions, explaining that the ministry began the pilot phase of the project at Baghdad Educational Hospital For the City of Medicine in cooperation with Al Salam Company affiliated to the Ministry of Communications.
In the same context, he explained that his department instructed all health departments to implement the project in their institutions, especially that the health card system, which is expected to be implemented in health institutions soon, will establish a precise statistical organization to prepare the data of their auditors and cases of illness. The current health information and consider the adoption of new programs in the medium and long term with the adoption of new statistical programs in the short term for the purpose of developing work in the institutions of the ministry, stressing the importance of keeping up with modern systems in the management of health institutions and start as fast as possible Procedures for implementation.
Director General of the Department of Planning and Follow-up explained that his department coordinates with the Ministry of Higher Education to integrate the Ministry and its health institutions with technical technological competencies from other institutes and colleges within the e-governance project through organizing training courses for medical staff to enable them to use the latest technology in the medical fields.
