    The government's information cell announced on Monday the return of a number of power lines and the introduction of new service stations, noting that cutting off the power line from Iran has lost the system 1000 MW.
    The cell said in a statement read by "Economy News", "The Ministry of Electricity was able to enter the station Basmaya investment capacity of 250 MW, which entered two days ago to work to add new energy to the electrical system," noting that "efforts continue to introduce other generating units in the coming days After the approval of the Ministry of Oil to increase the amount of fuel processed for power plants.
    The cell added that "the technical staffs of the electricity distribution departments in the central and southern governorates were able to complete maintenance work and in record times for a number of feeder lines to secondary stations in those provinces after being subjected to emergency failures, as well as the treatment of technical symptoms in the network and remove abuses.
    The ministry pointed out that "the ministry is exerting its efforts in coordination with the official authorities to find solutions to restore the line of energy from Iran after cutting it from the Iranian side, which lost the national network capacity of 1000 megawatts," noting that "its impact is very clear on the southern provinces."
    It is noteworthy that the level of power supply reached 15 thousand megawatts and it is hoped after the restoration of the Iranian line and the completion of maintenance for a number of stations during the next two weeks to reach the production volume up to 16700 megawatts, the highest production capacity reached by Iraq over the past years.
    The Cabinet has directed the Ministry of Oil in its meeting held on July 3, the Ministry of Oil to secure strategic stocks of fuel generation stations, as well as directing the Ministry of Finance to secure the necessary financial allocations in order to ensure the continued operation of electricity and non-stop.
