(Encyclopedia of this Day News | Iraq News ) - Direct: the price of crude "Brent" fell during trading on Friday, with moving towards recording a large weekly losses, after witnessing a variety of news over this week.

OPEC announced its monthly report on Wednesday, which showed an increase in production by 173,000 barrels per day in June.

The Organization also raised its estimate of overseas supply growth over the year by 0.14 million barrels per day from May's forecast of 59.54 million bpd.

By 6:20 am GMT, the benchmark Brent crude for September delivery fell 0.3 percent to $ 74.26 a barrel.

While Nymex crude futures settled at $ 70.35 a barrel.

At the same time, US stocks fell significantly in the week ending June 6 by 12.6 million barrels.

In a separate context, the International Energy Agency (IEA) warned that reserve oil capacity faces the risk of being fully implemented.

"While there are signs that strong oil prices could put pressure on demand growth, the main risk at the moment is standby power," the agency said.

Baker Hughes is due to release data on crude drilling platforms in the United States later in the day.
