    The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Haider Abadi, on Sunday, a meeting with the ministers of interior and defense and a number of security leaders to discuss the situation in the provinces that are witnessing demonstrations. 

    A security source said in an interview for Alsumaria News that "the commander-in-chief of the armed forces Haider Abadi held a meeting with Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji, Defense Minister Irfan al-Hayali and a number of security leaders."




    The source, who asked not to be named, said that "the meeting comes to discuss the security situation in the provinces that are witnessing demonstrations." 

    Several southern provinces witnessed demonstrations in which hundreds of people took part, demanding the provision of services and job creation for the unemployed.
