845 cars burned and 508 arrested Suspected of riots in France

The French Interior Ministry said on Sunday evening that riots in France on Friday and Saturday on the sidelines of national celebrations resulted in the burning of 845 cars and the arrest of 508 suspects.
A spokesman for the ministry said the cars burned on the sidelines of this year's celebrations are fewer than those burned on the sidelines of celebrations last year when rioters set fire to 897 cars. On the other hand, the number of detainees this year is much greater than last year, with 368 arrested.
The spokesman said he was pleased that the riots this year "have not been punctuated by any major incident," according to "AFP".
According to the Interior Ministry, 29 members of the security forces were injured in the riots on Friday and Saturday, compared to 21 last year.
France has deployed 110,000 police and gendarmes to ensure the safety of national holiday revelers and the World Cup final, which France won Sunday night at Croatia's expense in Moscow. Finished
