The Saudi ambassador in Iraq, Abdul Aziz al-Shammari, stressed that the directives of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and his Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman stress on directing all support to Iraqi pilgrims.
Al-Shammari said in a statement to Al-Arabiya television channel that the Kingdom is working to provide all support to the Iraqi people and stands at one distance from all its components. He pointed out that this year witnessed an increase in the number of pilgrims with nearly 6,000 pilgrims, .
He pointed out that there is great coordination with the Iraqi government, explaining that the Saudi air carrier will contribute to the promotion of pilgrims this year.
Shammari revealed that next year will see the opening of commercial port Arar between the two countries with the establishment of a trade exchange.
He pointed out that Saudi Arabia is working to be the issuance of Hajj visas for the next year from Baghdad.
