Ankara threatens to sue Washington if not delivered F35
said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan , said his country will go to international arbitration if the United States did not provide fighter F 35.
The newspaper quoted "Turk news," Erdogan was quoted as saying , "Now they started threatening us something .. If you will not be able to recognizing F 35, there is something, such as international arbitration, that we will go to international arbitration ... if it comes to that, there are alternatives. "
The comments come in response to a bill passed by the US Senate, which prohibits the sale of Ankara F-35 fighter jets and Patriot air defense systems and military transport helicopters because of Ankara's intention to buy Russian anti-aircraft systems S-400, American Rev. Andrew Brunson.
And it was held at Lockheed Martin Corp. of America, earlier, the first aircraft "F 35" delivery ceremony, to Turkey, in Fort Worth , Texas.
According to the agency "Sputnik" representative of the Secretariat of the Turkish defense industry, the bird "F 35", which was delivered to Ankara, will remain in the United States, until November 2019 for the training of Turkish pilots.
Ankara plans to purchase 116 F-35 fighter jets.
