The legal expert Tariq Harb, Tuesday, that the Minister of Electricity Qassem Fahdawi may be sentenced to life imprisonment in the event of some charges against him, indicating that the results of the investigation is not over yet.
"The crimes that were charged by the Minister of Electricity Qasem al-Fahdawi have not yet been proven by investigations," he said. "The investigation is still ongoing." The punishment is determined on the basis of the crime and its type, the crime".
"It is expected to end the preliminary administrative investigation with Fahdawi, but he will remain suspended pending the completion of the judicial investigation, which will have a major role in referring the accused to the Criminal Court."
He explained that "the results of investigations may get through Fahdawi the penalty of life imprisonment, and may be released and may be imprisoned for 5 years, but all depends on evidence to prove his involvement in the crime," pointing out that "the administrative investigation does not need a long time, Positive, especially with the recent developments and statements made by Fahdawi recently.
