Afghan officials said on Wednesday that a senior official of the Da'ash organization in northern Afghanistan, along with 150 fighters, had surrendered earlier this morning to security forces in the state of Guzjan.
"Mullahi Habib al-Rahman, the military official of the Da'ash organization in northern Afghanistan, and Mufti Ne'ma, the second man in the north with 150 fighters under their command, surrendered to the Afghan security forces," said Reza Ghafouri, spokesman for the governor of Guzjan.
"Another group of fugitives still trapped by the Taliban will also surrender to the security forces," Ghafouri said, adding that "more details about the activities of these terrorists will be published later." Finished
