Former MP for the wisdom bloc Mohamed El-Lakash called on the heads of the Council of Ministers, the Judicial Council, the Integrity Commission and the Financial Control Bureau to speed up the declaration of a national day to eliminate corruption and establish a special prison for the corrupt.
"There are thousands of cases between the government, the judiciary, the Integrity Commission and the observations of the Office of Financial Supervision regarding the federal budgets have not yet been decided," Al-Wakash said in a press release.
"Some of them still need the order of the prime minister and another is in the process of being investigated between other government institutions, the Financial Control Bureau, the Integrity Commission and the Supreme Judicial Council," he said.
"Some of these cases did not issue warrants for the arrest of spoilers, while others issued arrest warrants for the spoilers but were not carried out," he said.
He renewed his call to Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi to establish a special prison for the spoilers and call it the [Umm al-Palaya prison].
