US security expert: Protests in Iran will prompt officers of the Revolutionary Guard to split and escape

A US security expert predicted that if the Iranian protests continue, they will push senior officers in [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/102104/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D8%B1%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AB%D9%88%D9%8A]the Revolutionary Guards[/url] to split and flee abroad.
Michael Wrigent, a security expert and senior Middle East analyst at the Hudson Institute, said some leaders in Iran's Revolutionary Guards had already fled. Others resigned on the backdrop of US protests and sanctions against the Iranian regime.
He added that the Center is facing a lack of accurate information about the departure of leaders known from Iran with their money and left them, and that so far has not been confirmed this information.
He pointed out that the information that they now have the differences between the high leadership and leaders of the middle class, who resent the abuse of the Supreme Leader with US sanctions.
