    BAGHDAD - The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday that the 30th of next September will mark the start of the new academic year for all grades.
    "The 30th of September 2018 was set as the date for the start of the new academic year for students of all levels of study and in all governorates of Iraq," the ministry said in a brief statement.
    The Ministry of Education, decided earlier, that the date of September 10 next date for the start of teaching staff in schools nationwide.
    The ministry said in a statement that "the General Directorate of General, National and Foreign Education in the Ministry of Education, today directed all the directorates of the General Secretariat on Sunday, September 10, a date for the direct teaching staff and teaching in schools, except for those carrying out probationary tasks."
    The statement added that "the adoption of this timing came in order to allow educational staff to enjoy the Eid holiday and appreciation of their important role and influential in the educational process and educational." Finished
