A member of the Al-Fatah alliance, Mahdi Taqi Aamerli, said on Wednesday that there are great fears for the popular mobilization if Haidar al-Abadi takes over as prime minister again, indicating that the United States is seeking to weaken the crowd.
"There is an astonishment at the actions of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, especially when he withdrew the pieces of the popular crowd from some areas, and his anger in politics," Amerli said in a statement.
He added that "to ensure the survival of the popular crowd and the lack of government exposure to him, depends on the decisions of the House of Representatives for the crowd in the next session, as there are efforts to stabilize the roots of the popular crowd more than the past through some laws in the new parliament."
