    The Iraqi Ports Authority announced on Wednesday the arrival of the giant Iversel vessel loaded with 4,900 containers on Thursday.
    "The ship is scheduled to be laid on a berth at the northern port of Umm Qasr on Thursday with about 4,900 containers," Aziz al-Obeidi, general manager of the company, said in a statement.
    "The ship is 285 meters long and its water is more than 10 meters in diameter and 40 meters wide. It carries a flag of Panama," he said.
    The Director General of the company that "it is hoped that the arrival of giant ships with different loads to Iraqi ports during the coming period."
