Iraq is third in the list of the most blocked countries of the Internet

When it comes to limiting opposition and freedom of expression, some governments take radical steps to shut down the Internet. Around the world, Internet blockades are becoming more common and often occur to control what people do or say.
According to Access Now, published by Vice News, India has the highest rate of Internet blocking, while Pakistan ranked second with 19 closures during the same period. In many countries, stopping the Internet as a precaution or reaction in response to unrest Collective or potential, we find this after the failed Turkish military coup of 2016 as a notable example.
