    The Tunisian government and China signed agreements to implement infrastructure projects and establish an industrial zone south of Tunisia.
    The Prime Minister of Tunisia, Youssef Chahd, oversaw the official signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding concerning a series of major projects planned for completion in the south of Tunisia.
    Foreign Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sabri Bash Tabaji and the Director-General of the Chinese State Company Yuan Li signed a memorandum of understanding to carry out technical and economic studies on the development of the economic pole and industrial zone in the region of Zarzis, south of Tunisia. 2.5 km, and the completion of the railway link between Gabes and Medenine, and up to the port of Zarzis length of 140 km.
