    The activities of the joint Egyptian-American training (Bright Star 2018) began on Saturday and continue until September 20.
    Cairo, Sputnik. According to a statement issued by the official spokesman of the Egyptian armed forces on its official page on the social networking site Facebook exercises are conducted at the combat training complex at the Mohammed Najib military base in the northern military region. Along with Egypt and America, it participates in Greece, Jordan, Britain, Saudi Arabia, , As well as the participation of 16 other States as observers.

    The joint military exercise between Egypt and America began in 1981, but has been stalled since 2009, and returned again in 2017 after the current US President Donald Trump took office.
