Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi on Monday issued seven important decisions for the Basra crisis.
A statement issued by his office said that "the continuation of the meetings of Abadi in the province of Basra, where he held an executive meeting with the special ministerial committee in the province of Basra was devoted to develop urgent solutions to the water problem and the rest of the requirements and needs of the people of Basra, "He said.
He added that "the meeting issued the following resolutions:
First: Assigning Al-Faris General Company to manufacture pumping and filter units.
Second: Rehabilitation and maintenance of the R-Zero station.
Third: Disbursement of food allowances and additional working hours for staff at the station RZero.
Fourth: Stop the excesses on the lines and the water network.
Fifth: Assign companies of the Ministry of Water Resources to establish a pipeline conveyor for the channel of innovation.
Sixth: The establishment of a second pipeline in cooperation between the ministries of water resources and oil to promote the provision of raw water for the Shatt al-Arab from the north of Qurna.
Seventh: Accelerating procedures for the appointment of the unemployed in Basra.
The statement continued, "where the meetings of the team in charge of implementing the decisions of the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of the Head of the Advisor of the Prime Minister with the Governor of Basra and a number of officials in the service departments in the relevant ministries and the local government to implement decisions related to improving basic services, .
