    Shafiq News / Mohammed Falak al-Maliki attacked the agent of the Shiite cleric Ali al-Sistani in Basra, outgoing Prime Minister Haider Abadi, who arrived in the province following a wave of angry protests against the background of the deterioration of services and lack of drinking water. 
    He said in a speech in one of the Husayniyat in the province of Basra on the occasion of the start of the new Hijri year and the solution of the month of Muharram, "The Prime Minister in Basra after the hunger and thirst and stole, and after doing what he did." 
    The agent Sistani in reference to Abadi, "God curse him and his government," which he described as "ominous." 
    Sheikh Mohammed Flak ridiculed the promises made by Abadi during his visit to the province of Basra, after a wave of protests that left scores of dead and hundreds of wounded as well as targeting government buildings.
    The agent concluded that al-Abbadi's visit came "after the destruction of Basra," as he put it, referring to the support of the parliament, which demanded Abadi to resign during a special session held last Saturday in Baghdad. 
    He continued: "Abadi, despite his demand to resign, came to Basra, and with each eye a (bold) and did not receive him, in order to return the ball again."
    And addressed to Mohammed Velak Abbadi, saying: "neither welcome nor welcome to you and your ministries, after the people were hungry and satisfied the people of Basra from the people of salt water."
    The statements of the agent of the reference Sistani after a statement issued by the Office of the latter, in which he refused to accept Abadi prime minister a second term.
    Abadi promised in a press statement from Basra to provide services, considering what happened in the past days as "a political blocs dispute."
