Information / Baghdad.
The current prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, on Thursday, delivered a peaceful and democratic handover of power and a commitment to the directives of the religious authority.
"He will give a lesson in the peaceful and democratic handover of power," Abadi said during the weekly conference. "He will abide by the directives of the religious authority of Supreme Leader Ali al-Sistani and not to cling to the post."
"The government will abide by its constitutional procedures and respect religious decisions and respond to them," he said. Finished
