Second Deputy Speaker Bashir Al-Haddad on Monday stressed the importance of moving towards a new stage to build a federal Iraq.
"Al-Haddad discussed with a number of heads of blocs and deputies of the provinces the need to unify the ranks and spread the national spirit in speeches and intensify efforts to serve the interests of the people through legislation and laws," the statement said.
"The importance of moving away from sectarian and ethnic confinement," he said, stressing "the importance of moving towards a new stage to build a stable federal Iraq that guarantees the rights of all."
