The head of the Nahrain Center for Studies (government) Wathiq al-Hashemi, Saturday, the Iraqi government to take a unilateral decision on reducing the number of Turkish troops in the camp Baasheqa, noting that the federal government does not grant any Turkish soldier authorized to enter Iraq.
"The Iraqi government has decided to prevent any Turkish soldier residing in Baasheqa camp north of Nineveh from obtaining a visa to travel to his country because of the normal leave," Hashemi said in a statement.
"The Turkish government's continued refusal to allow Turkish soldiers to return will end the Turkish military presence in Ba'asyika without any diplomatic or military contact," he said.
Hashemi pointed out that "the camp is completely surrounded by Iraqi forces and Turkey can not implement any scheme without the knowledge of the Iraqi forces." Ending / 25 d
