Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -An informed source stated that a delegation sent by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, has arrived in Erbil and met the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani to discuss the latest updates of the political process.

The source assured to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The delegation comprises the head of Maliki’s office, the leaders within al-Dawa Islamic Party Tariq Najim, Hassan al-Sinaid, Abdul Halim al-Zuhairi, former MP of the Iraqi National Alliance, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis,” noting that “The delegation met Barzani on last Monday and discussed the political updates with him.”

“Properly, the delegation to return to Baghdad and inform Maliki about the results of the meeting,” the source concluded.
