    A US reconnaissance plane is conducting an exploratory operation in the Mediterranean near the shores of Syria, a newspaper reported.
    The Russian newspaper " In 24 " electronic on 1 October 2018, quoting Western media sources specializing in monitoring the movement of air that a reconnaissance aircraft belonging to the US Air Force RC-135V continue the process of exploration at the shores of Syria near the port of Tartus.
    The US reconnaissance plane from the Greek island of Crete flew on Monday over an area close to the Syrian coast.
    The same plane flew on Sunday near the Syrian port of Tartous.
    The next day, the American plane returned to fly in the same area after the arrival of a Russian plane "An-124" to the air base Humimim and entered the container ship "Sparta-3" to the port of Tartous.
    Most likely, the US reconnaissance plane headed for the region on the mission of detecting S-300 air defense systems that Russia began supplying to Syria.
