Senior political sources revealed the existence of a joint cooperation between the outgoing Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and the Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul Mahdi, on the development of a road map to eliminate corruption completely

Abadi said in a press conference earlier: "We have a basic campaign to combat corruption and the prosecution of corrupt, and soon we will publish what we have done in this regard, and has been referred to (integrity) and the people who have been sentenced," they returned, "the apparent corruption requires convincing evidence And unequivocal evidence, the judiciary is not satisfied with the words of the Prime Minister; it needs conclusive evidence on the ground. He pointed out that "corruption has become a stronger institution of state institutions, and there must be a serious will to fight it, as it is less dangerous than terrorism."
