[rtl]The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan al-Kaabi, on Tuesday, that the parliament passed a law to remove US troops from the country, stressing that the presence of these forces lacked legal cover.[/rtl]

[rtl]"There is a previous agreement approved by the House of Representatives regarding the presence of US forces, and I have confirmed that this presence should be limited to training and some logistical matters, not the presence of a large number of these forces," Al-Kaabi said in a press interview.[/rtl]

[rtl]He added that "the current US presence in Iraq has no legal cover," stressing that "the final word will be the House of Representatives."[/rtl]

[rtl]"I am a member of the Presidency, I support that the House of Representatives take this decision on its own, and personally I support the vote to approve it, and I expect to approve it."[/rtl]

[rtl]And increased in recent days calls for Iraqis to demand the removal of US forces from the country and the closure of their military bases, after the suspicious activities they are doing on the Iraqi-Syrian border.[/rtl]
