BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan al-Kaabi called on the head of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Gabriela Cuevas Baron and Secretary-General of the Union Martin Choe Ngong on Wednesday to hold training sessions for Iraqi parliamentarians and support their women's representation.
In a statement received by al-Ghad Press, a copy of which was received by Hassan al-Kaabi, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, met in Geneva with the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Gabriela Cuevas Baron and the Secretary-General of the Union Martin Choe Ngong.
