A new committee called "Oversight and Government Performance" is added to the previous parliamentary committees

Fayez said that "the House of Representatives kept all the committees without any change except the addition of the Monitoring Committee and follow-up government performance." Indicating that "the new committee will take care of the details of the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the decisions issued in the ministries and government departments to assess and follow-up."
Fayez added that "the number of committees has become 27 instead of 26 in the previous legislative session," noting that "the next session of the parliament will witness the ratification of its members and then be selected its president and deputy and the Rapporteur from within the committees themselves.
