Reporters Without Borders called for continued international pressure on Riyadh to reveal the truth of the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in her consulate in Istanbul and not to grant her a "license to kill" fellow detainees.

"After acknowledging Khashoggi's death, we expect sustained, decisive and strong international pressure on Saudi Arabia to reach the full truth about Khashoggi's murder and to release the detained Saudi journalists," the organization's secretary general Christoph Delaware wrote on Twitter.

Amnesty International questions the integrity of the Saudi investigation into Khashoggi's death

According to him, any easing of pressure and a compromise policy would be tantamount to granting a "killing license" to Saudi Arabia, which "jails, abducts and even kills journalists who dare to open discussions and conduct investigations."
