    A political source revealed on Saturday that Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdiplans to launch a large-scale campaign to change the structure of the Council of Ministers , indicating that a number of advisers will be reduced. 

    "The prime minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi plans to launch a broad campaign to change the structure of the presidency of the Council of Ministers, and make wide changes after the ratification of the House of Representatives on its ministerial formation."

    The source, who preferred not to be named, said that "Abdul Mahdi directed his own team to prepare a new structure for the work of the Council of Ministers is different from that was approved race," likely to "reduce the number of advisers and workers and dispense with the services of department managers linked to the Council of Ministers." 

    The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi last month to form a government, where will expire in early November, while Abdul Mahdi said he will finish soon.
