    Governor Asaad al-Eidani, on Sunday, expressed his objection to not include the draft budget law for the next year to allocate 50% of Basra revenues from its border outlets, while pointing to the increase share of Basra's contribution to oil production within the draft. 

    He said Eidani said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The draft budget for the year 2019 does not allocate 50% of Basra revenues of its border outlets, and this means that the province is threatened with the loss of tens of billions," noting that "it is very necessary to take Parliament to undertake the amendment of the draft and ensure The right of Basra to obtain 50% of the revenues of its border ports. "

    The Governor pointed out that "in the budget of the current year 2018 considered that the share of Basra oil production rate of 54%, which is the wrong rate," adding that "in the draft budget next year 2019 has been adjusted by increasing the proportion to be 69%." 

    For his part, the MP for Basra, Muzahim al-Tamimi said in an interview with Alsumaria News, that "so far we have not formally received the draft budget law, and we have comments on the paragraphs of the project," follow-up "we may come to joint solutions with the central government in order to realize the ambitions of the Projects that lead to the progress and development of the province. " 

    Basra, which is officially the capital of Iraq The economy has not received most of its allocations of petrodollars during the past few years. For the first time, this year, it received a percentage of revenues from its border ports, and the governorate has faced a severe financial crisis since 2014, which affected most service departments paralyzed. Service projects that were under implementation before completion.
