Today .. Erdogan and Ben Salman in a decisive duel NB-250717-636758782891178985

published newspaper " The Guardian" British, Tuesday, an analysis of his books, Martin Chlov, about the confrontation between Turkey and Saudi Arabia in the case of Saudi journalist killed, Jamal Khashoggi , and the pursuit of each country to assert its influence and power in the area of the Middle East .

Martin says Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are in a battle to show power and influence in the region. The crucial fencing between them, he said, will be today.

The Saudi Crown Prince will inaugurate an investment conference in Riyadh with the aim of announcing his country's investment. The Turkish president will deliver a speech in Ankara that could plunge Saudi Arabia, promising that he will reveal the whole truth in the case of Khashoggi's death, inside his consulate in Istanbul.

If Erdogan fulfills his promise, Mr Martin says, he will present compelling evidence condemning Saudi Arabia for plotting to kill Khashoggi with video and audio video footage of torture and murder. The Turkish president is expected to accuse the Saudi crown prince of plotting to kill the journalist, which lied to Saudi Arabia's claims that the group that killed Khashoggi acted without the knowledge of the crown prince and beyond its powers.

The Saudi crown prince and the Turkish president have very different views of the region's future. Erdogan supports political Islam in his country and abroad, especially since the arrival of President Mohamed Morsi to power in Egypt .
Erdogan cooperates with Qatar, which the writer describes as Saudi Arabia's first foe in the region.

Mohammed bin Salman, according to the writer, "tries to change the face of Saudi Arabia to abandon its roots Wahhabism and Salafism and become a police Arab state."

"The opportunity for Erdogan to turn the table over a reckless man has angered his closest confidants," Martin said. "It has become a strategic struggle between Erdogan and his view of the Middle East and Bin Salman and his view of the region with allies bin Zayed in the UAE and Sisi in Egypt."
