The Cabinet held its first regular session on Thursday under the chairmanship of the new Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.

A statement issued by the Information Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers said that the Council discussed the methodology of meetings of the Council and the organization of future work.

The statement added that the council discussed the importance of cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities in order to provide everything that serves the citizen.

The statement said that a presentation was made on the importance of the ministries law in the government program.

The statement concluded that the Council of Ministers discussed the work of the next ministries in accordance with the new vision to provide the best services to citizens.
