The Washington Post reported that "the US administration will stop the refueling operations of the fighters of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia in Yemen."
The newspaper quoted "informed figures", asserting that the decision is expected to be announced in the coming days.
"We have ongoing discussions with our partners, but we have nothing to say at this time about the issue of stopping fuel supplies," said Pentagon spokesman Robert Manning.
Analysts said the move would limit Saudi Arabia's ability to carry out air raids deep into Yemeni territory.
