The legal expert Tariq Harb, on Saturday, the lack of determining the constitutional quorum for the number of ministers in the Council of Ministers, noting that the government continues to be legitimate in the case of the dismissal of 10 ministers.
"The Constitution and the rules of procedure of the Council of Ministers did not specify the required number of the Council of Ministers, as is the case in Parliament, so the survival of any number of ministers and the prime minister will be legitimate," Harb said in a statement.
He added that "the dismissal of 10 ministers in the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi and his survival with a group of not more than three ministers will not prejudice the quorum or the legitimacy of the government."
