The number of illegal immigrants to America increased by 38%
The number of illegal immigrants arriving with their families to the United States across the border with Mexico increased in October by 38 percent compared with September, according to data from the US Customs and Border Service.
According to statistics from the US Customs and Border Service, the total number of people detained at the border with Mexico in October this year was 50,975, 23,100 of whom were taken to the border with their families.
The Department pointed out that the total of what was detained during the period from October 2017 to October 2018, reached 107 thousand immigrants with their families, a record. Almost all of them intended to seek asylum in the United States.
