Shafaq News / MP Jawad al-Musawi, the existence of corruption in the Ministry of Health worth tens of millions of dollars, in a statement addressed to the House of Representatives.
"The corruption in the Iraqi Ministry of Health amounted to 95 million dollars, in what he described as" a great waste of public money, "said the deputy of the" Sadoun "bloc, led by Moqtada al-Sadr.
He added that "this corruption involved the Inspector General of the Ministry of Health."
He said the Inspector General of the Ministry of Health and Environment "suspected of trying to close files of corruption and a large waste of public funds related to contracts to establish hospitals in the provinces of Babil, Karbala, Dhi Qar, Basra, Maysan and Najaf."
"The initial value of the lost amounts was about $ 95 million," he said in the statement.
"All the decisions issued by the Secretariat regarding the establishment of the right of the Ministry of Health to recover the lost funds have been ignored," Moussaoui said.
