(AFP) - British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt arrived in Tehran Monday morning to head a political delegation for talks with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and other officials.
During the visit, Hunt will meet with the secretary-general of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani.
Hunt will also discuss bilateral relations, the future of the nuclear deal and regional and international developments.
This is Hunt's first visit to Tehran since he became foreign minister and after the re-imposition of the US embargo on Iran.
