The United States considered withdrawing its military forces from Syria would be inappropriate at present, but insisted once again that all Iranian military and their allies should leave the Arab world.
"The United States and all the institutions of power in our country are committed to the full withdrawal of all forces under the leadership of Iran from all the territory of Syria," said James Jeffrey, the US special envoy for Syria, James Jeffrey, in his written response to the questions of the International Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives.
"We have made it clear to the Russians that this conflict can not be resolved as long as the Iranian forces are there," Jeffrey said.
On the other hand, Jeffrey noted that "Russia is insistently calling for the rapid withdrawal of US forces and the International Alliance of Syria," but considered that taking such a step "is not appropriate at the moment."
Jeffrey pointed out that the removal of US forces and their allies in the framework of the international coalition against "Damascus" from Syria "will allow the organization to return, and will allow Iran to occupy this vacuum, and will endanger the stability of Iraq and will increase the degree of threats to neighboring countries Syria, the important allies of the United States such as Israel and Jordan Turkey ".
He also stressed that the administration of US President, Donald Trump, "is committed to the final elimination of the preacher, including on the territory of Syria."
The United States has been insisting, especially since its current president, Donald Trump, in power in his country, has strongly accused Iran, an ally of the Syrian authorities, of being the biggest international backer of terrorism and the most destabilizing force in the Middle East.
The United States has been leading the international coalition forces in Syria since the summer of 2014 without any invitation or approval from the Syrian authorities, which accuse the US military and its allies of violating state sovereignty and committing repeated massacres against innocent civilians.
The Pentagon has deployed 2200 military personnel in Syrian territory under the pretext of supporting efforts to combat "da'ash", training local forces and ensuring security in the liberated territories.
