    The Director General of the General Company for Maritime Transport in Basra, Abdulkarim Kanhal, called on local, Arab and foreign investment companies specialized in transport projects to submit a project to open a navigational line between the wharf of Al-Ashar in Basra and Kish Island of Iran.
    Speaking at a press conference held in Basra, Kanhal said that "the announcement period for this project will be effective from Sunday until the 31st of this month," adding that "the project offers and designs are currently available and any investment company enjoys Competent to apply for this project. "
    He pointed out that "the shipping company will provide the necessary facilities for any company referred to the project in order to make it a success."
