The head of a coalition of state law Nuri al-Maliki, the parliament warned of chaos after an escalating dispute over the completion of the vote on the government of Adel Abdul-Mahdi.
"The House of Representatives today is facing a real test, either to choose to vote on names submitted by the prime minister in accordance with constitutional contexts, or to go to chaos," Maliki said in a letter published by his office manager Hisham al-Rikabi on his Twitter account.
Abdulmahdi is due to submit eight candidates to vote in parliament in order to complete his government, but the meeting was not held because of disagreements, amid talk about the boycott of the reform coalition session, or reject the vote on the candidate Interior Faleh al-Fayadh.
The Minister of Culture, Nouri al-Dulaimi, Minister of Planning, and Hana Korkis, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education. Migration and displaced persons.
The leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr, earlier sent a strong message to Adel Abdul-Mahdi told him "the need not to comply with what is happening behind the scenes of sharing positions," referring to the insistence of the blocks on the nomination of people without others.
Sadr asked Abdel Mahdi to nominate competent officers for the defense and interior portfolios "who liberated the lands from the control of the preacher because they are the first," pointing out that the blocks that gave their support to the nomination of Abdul Mahdi may have to withdraw if he failed in his mission.
